the fingers malone ensemble – Sneaky Australian tour.
fingers malone’s productions simultaneously ooze the feeling of late heady nights and lazy long afternoons.
A super busy 2012 sees the fingers malone ensemble hitting the road again in September and October to unleash bass rumbling tunes from his album ‘Push’ on a Sneaky Australian tour. He will be revisiting some of the spots from the recent Ash Grunwald tour and playing some new stops too. “That last tour was so much fun that as soon as we got home I got straight on the telephone to my secretary and said ‘God damn it Barbara! Book me some more shows. ASAP!” he says.
The past 3 years has seen fingers malone producing for the prestigious UK label Pedigree Cuts in his London studio and performing in the bass heavy clubs of the East End. He recently returned to Australia to blast out his live show and to help his good mate Ash Grunwald record his latest release.
the fingers malone ensemble live show includes live mpc(drum machine) playing, distorted synthesizers and smooth rap singing. The sound can best be described as a cinematic mix of hip hop, jazz, dub and dance. The result is a solo electronic songwriter like nothing you’ve ever seen. The show will incorporate tunes from his debut album ‘Push’ and a few even newer ones too!
